My work is an architectural suggestion, whose building unit is the gentle slope.

By gentle slope, I mean these lines which, under the gravity, in the repetition of the gesture, and in the will to draw them right, can only appear with a slight incline.

The articulation of these lines in the enclosed space of the canvas, creates an eccentric motion, a perceptive ambivalence (between elevation and mass plan) whose we can extract from it, almost a mathematical formula ; I decipher it when I observe it, and I reconstruct it when I propose it. From this voluntarily radical and refined building unit, is born the sensitive part, also induced from my work.

Breaking down with the tradition of vertical height and power, the gentle slope lies within the metaphysical and metaphorical sphere. The gentle slope erects a world of horizontality, which restores the contemplation. And by gentle slope, I mean admirable, in the litteral sense (it can be watched).

Gentle slope, can be envisioned as both, the "slope", physical phenomenon of free will (move up / down), and "gentle" with the sensitive mood it will reveal in front of the "possible".
